Wow! it's difficult to sum up ones life in a few paragraphs. Well, here goes.. I'm 50, widowed and have been pretty much raising my 8 year old daughter myself.I am smart, funny, sarcastic, energetic, athletic and at the same time I tend to be very modest. So talking or writing about myself isn't easy especially when I'm trying to impress you. I love the outdoors whether it be going to the beach during the summer or the mountains during the winter. So in my free time I enjoy skiing, playing tennis, biking, scuba diving, or hiking. All in all, I'm very active and keep myself in good shape. I'm passionate about my work . I practice and teach periodontics, as well as do research. I find my work stimulating and challenging at many levels and especially enjoy travelling
I cherish spending time with my Daughter and I'm hoping to meet a special woman to share my life with. Someone with whom I Speeddate interests and values but also challenges me to try new things, go to new places and enjoy life. I would like to meet a woman who I can have an intellectually stimulating conversation with; a woman who likes to travel to the more unconventional parts of places like Australia and New Zealand or a concrete jungle like New York, Rome or Paris. It would also be nice to stay home, build a fire, cook dinner and watch a DVD once in a while.
